This Cookie Policy explains how Truffaire Private Limited (“Truffaire”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on SYNTAX, our AI-powered clinical-reasoning and patient-simulation platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as local storage and similar browser mechanisms; in this Policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal and use them to:

• Keep you signed in and maintain your session securely.
• Remember preferences such as billing period and interface settings.
• Protect the platform against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
• Understand, in aggregate, how the platform is used so we can improve it.

• Strictly necessary — Required for the platform to function: authentication, session integrity and security. These cannot be switched off through our interface, as the service will not work without them.
• Preference — Remember choices you make, such as monthly-versus-yearly billing view, so the experience is consistent across visits.
• Analytics — Help us measure usage and performance in aggregate. Where required by law, these are used only with your consent.

Some cookies are set by trusted providers who help us operate SYNTAX — for example our authentication provider and our payment processor. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them; we retain them no longer than needed for the purpose described above.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. As there is no consistent industry standard for how such signals should be handled, SYNTAX does not currently respond to them. We will update this Policy if that changes.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law or how we operate. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
